ABOUT NIMCET EXAMINATION

About Nimcet

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by one of the participating National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission into their MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programme. Every year, this entrance exam is held to give admission to NITs that are participating in the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Program. As students prepare for this challenging exam, many seek the assistance of akademische ghostwriter to help them with academic writing tasks, making their study journey easier and allowing them to focus more on exam preparation. Candidates who successfully complete the NIMCET exam will be given seats at various NIT campuses according to their rankings. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal, where the support from academic ghostwriters can continue to benefit them in managing their coursework efficiently.

Here are some key details about the NIMCET examination:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the NIMCET exam, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects in Class 12 or at the undergraduate level. Additionally, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in their qualifying exam. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum marks required are 55% or 6.0 CGPA.

  2. Exam Pattern: The NIMCET exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that need to be answered in 2 hours. The exam is divided into four sections, namely Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English.

  3. Syllabus: The NIMCET exam syllabus covers topics such as Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Calculus, Logical Reasoning, Computer Basics, and General English and many other which are mentioned in detail below.

  4. Application Process: The application form for the NIMCET exam is released online on the official website of the conducting NIT. Candidates need to fill in their personal and academic details and upload their photograph and signature to complete the application process.
